AFTER SCHOOL ART
After School Art Classes are designed to increase skill and knowledge to propel mastery of materials and advanced concepts. Students are encouraged to study art history and explore new ways to express their ideas, emotions, and experiences through visual arts.
ACAC purposes to guide students through creative processes in a way that builds self-confidence and enhances their artistic abilities. We believe that when students are encouraged to do and be their best, they exceed expectations and elevate to new heights. The innate desire to imagine, invent, produce and communicate is natural and nurtured through creativity. For example, when producing masterpieces or being innovative with a homework assignment the process itself is fulfilling and students reap the reward with the results they produce. Making time for art yields a great return on your investment throughout life.
In our competitive culture, school is hard work for students and we want to give students a place to explore. Similar to sport, art is another avenue for students to explore as they address their "kid stress." Having a creative outlet proves to balance anyone's workload. All artistic disciplines demonstrate skill, concept, imagination, critical thinking, discovery, invention and more.
